I have light blue (sometimes green) eyes and always feel like the makeup colors I wear wash out or hide my eyes. I'd like some advice, from personal experience or makeup artists, about what color eyeshadow, eyeliner and mascara I can use to actually bring out my eyes. What eye makeup colors emphasize light blue eyes?
I have light blue eyes too :)
Eyeshadow: light brown, gold, champagne, light bluey tones
Eyeliner: BROWN!!!
Mascara: curl and coat your lashes with extremely black mascara. If you curl them, they'll lift up and it shows more of your eyes.
Try these tips, i PROMISE they'll work! What eye makeup colors emphasize light blue eyes?
I also have blue eyes, and I know that Almay has certain eye shadows that play up different color eyes. There is one that intensifies your color and another that plays it up for a bolder look. Most of the colors are either shades of blues or browns. Just go here:
http://www.almay.com/pg/main/catcoleyeslips.aspx?catid=32%26amp;catnm=Eyes%26amp;subid=5%26amp;subnm=Blue%26amp;col1=224%26amp;col2=225
i have blue eyes too and for eyeshadows ive used a deep purple with hints of gold, an orangy goldcolor, and white and theyve all worked rlly well. for mascara i always use black it rllyopens up your eyes and for eyeliner i either use jet black or a rlly dark blue
for blue eyes greens, browns (dark ones mostly), dark blues, light pinks, and even plum can make your eyes pop..and also if your brave enough, using blue mascara (cheapest would be NYC's blue cobalt mascara) would make your eyes pop!
Hope that helps a little! :)
To me, i wold use browns or blacks for the eyeliner. Black really brings it out. and use lots of black mascara! it helps open up your eyes and brighten them so it'll make the color pop!
well orange is the opposite color of blue
which they both make each other stick out
but since not many people wear orange eye shadow i would say something a little closer to brown
but kinda orange idk how to explain
Silvers or gold tones naturally enhance blue eyes.
DEFINATELY BLACK!
and pink shadow !
no mascara !
this makes it look superpretty%26lt;333
Browns and maybe golds and blues...but be careful with blue it can be very hard to wear.
any shade of purple.

I am thirteen years old with golden hair and dark blue eyes. My skin is very pale. What makeup should i wear?
I need a routine that isnt to showy, but helps my looks. I need it fresh and clean looking, but also soft. Please include what type of lipstick, lipgloss, eyeshadow, concealer,br鈥?or whatever i should use for my daily routine. i just need the color and what it is.I am thirteen years old with golden hair and dark blue eyes. My skin is very pale. What makeup should i wear?
I am 14 and I have been using makeup since I was twelve and my skin is fine, and my mother who is 44 has been using makeup since she was 11 and she has to die for skin (and her skin looks mch better than many of her same age friends who never wear makeup). DOn't let these people discourage you to wear it!
Cover Up: Almay foundation is uber light and won't look all cakey and gross, plus it goes on very naturally (try Nearly Naked kind). This won't clog your pores! I hate dream matte mouse my Maybelline was good, but I haven't tried it. An expensive but absolutely phenominal brand is Jane Iredale Mineral Makeup! Go to their website for locations and you'll be amazed with this!
Mascara: Use a very dark colored mascara, black is best. L'Oreal makes good mascara, and Almay does too.
Blush: Physician's Formula mineral blush in natural glow looks very light and natural, and is great for pale skin!
Lipstick + Gloss: Pair a natural colored lipstick and gloos together to make your lips pop. Revlon and covergirl make good lipsticks!!!!
Eyshadow: This is only if you use light colors and know how to apply it. Put the darkest color close to your lashline, and then the lightest color and your brow bone. Then if you have any other colors go from lightest to darkest starting from your brow bone!
Have fun playing with makeup! Don't be afraid to try new colors!I am thirteen years old with golden hair and dark blue eyes. My skin is very pale. What makeup should i wear?
I don't think you need to be thinking about wearing make up at 13! But if you have to make sure you have a good skincare routine too. A ph-balanced cleanser/face wash morning and night, forget all the oxy..this and spot zapp that...it will be too harsh, get something for sensitive skin. A tinted moisturiser will be fine for you (with an SPF 15+ allday, everyday, rain or shine!), especially if you have pale skin as it will look obvious and not natural if you wear a foundation or a powder. Moisturisers come with tanning agents these days too so if you want a little healthy glow all the time go for that (for fair /normal skin). A slick of nude gloss will be perfect and NO black/blue eyeliner or mascara, it will just make you look like you are trying too hard. A really light taupe eyeshadow over the lid with a darker shade on the lash line (close to the upper eyelashes) will be fine for nights out etc and a smidge of bronzer all over and I mean a smidge! Make sure your eyebrows are groomed too as this can make all the difference and even make you look like you have makeup on when you don't!
Starting out with a good routine at your age will reap the benefits later!! Always wash your make up off before bed and don't share with ya buddies!
13 is too young to wear make-up.
Use products that will help to improve your skin!
Like a tinted moisturizer(with SPF)(neutrogena)
tinted Lip Balm to give you just a hint of color and a healthy look and also moisturize and protect your lips(burt's bees)
I wouldn't care about eyeshadow or eyeliner...
But if your lashes doesn't have 'color'....you might use mascara.....in clear or brown!
and if you're really pale ...Blush!
And if you have blemishes or dark circles....Concealer
But please, just make use of everything if you really need :)
Now you should watch this video...and have an idea...how to put everything together...

OK. Because you're only thirteen, you need to keep it simple. Try this:
-Use concealer to cover minor blemishes and marks. Keep it at a MAXIMUM of two shades lighter than your skin tone.
-If you want, try a bit of mascara. Use a black or brown, or a mix of both. Start from the roots of your lashes and drag it up to the tips to give the illusion of length. For an extra touch, add it on the bottom lashes. For extra volume, do three coats. Do the next coat after each first coat has dried.
-Try a bit of shimmery eye shadow. It really adds effect without being too overdone. A light dusting of a gentle silver or grey shadow will be great on you, and will help your eyes open up while emphasizing the blue. A nice pale lilac will really emphasize that blue as well.
-A clear coating of lip gloss works amazingly. Either that, or a light pink gloss. Light pink works excellent with blondes. To make it last longer, apply a light coating of lip balm or ChapStick. Since it's winter that is actually a good idea because lip gloss can dry lips out; that way, they have more protection. Vaseline works too as both a protecting gloss and lip moisturizer.
If you really feel you lack colouring in your cheeks naturally, try just a bit of blush on the apples of your cheeks. Do it in a circular motion. Find blushes that are oil-free to prevent clogging your pores and getting pimples. Shimmery blushes will highlight pimples if you have any on your cheeks, so try a more matte blush if needed.
XOXO,
Laurie
Don't use black eyeliner. It takes away from your pretty blue peepers. Use brown. Sometimes I use dark if I want a dramatic effect. Most often I will use a light, golden brown. (I like Covergirl Perfect Point Plus in Espresso and Almay Bring Out The Blue in Brown Topaz)
Usually I will wear my eyeliner on the top inner rim and the bottom inner rim of the eye, but not accross the lid. I think it is a more natural look that way. When putting it on top of the lid, I never go too thick.
For shadows, you want gold tones. Yellow is opposite of blue on the color wheel and so it will make blue stand out the most when the two colors are paired. (Try Covergirl eye pallette in Country Woods or Shimmering Sands.)
You can even try enhancing your blue eyes with a bit of blue eyeshadow or some blue mascara. Just be careful because blue eyeshadow can get real trashy real fast.
Try getting Almay's Smart Shade foundation. It only comes in three shades: light, medium, and dark. It goes on white and then blends into the color of your skin! It is so amazing, I looove it. It only about ten dollars too, which is relatively cheap for a quality product. If you decide to go for a different foundation, look for an oil-free foundation that will prevent breakouts. Before buying, rub a little on your hand to see if it matches up. If your foundation is too dark you will look like an orange sponge cake. :]
If you have less-than-perfect skin then try a Covergirl concealer underneath your foundation, and L'Oreal true match powder over the top. This will make for an overall flawless look. I usually buy my powder a shade lighter than my foundation, just because for some reason it makes my skin look great.
I really reccommend seeing a Mary Kay consultant or a beauty rep behind the counter of a decent makeup store (Try Sephora or Dillard's). I got started with makeup by having a visit with my mom's friend who was a Mary Kay consultant. She gave me a makeover and then handed me her big fat book of samples and an book of tips and let me go crazy for a week. After that I realized that I knew what I wanted to do with my life. haha.
if you're very pale then why is your avatar tan?
Very little, at most a tinted moisturezer with a sheer lip-gloss

What makeup will bring out my blue eyes?
So, I have dark blue eyes and I wear black eyeliner and black mascara...but it doesnt look to great...i need something that brings out my eyes... so what colours should i use?? and i sometimes wear blue eyeshadow...but what colour should i be using???and i dont know if it affects anything but i have blonde hair....hope someone can help :DWhat makeup will bring out my blue eyes?
Blue eyes can range in tone from deep sapphire to gray-blue. The right shades of eye shadow and makeup will enhance your features. Those with deep dark blue eyes can experiment with most colors, including intense shades while those with lighter blue eyes would do well with milder color range. Using blue for makeup for blue eyes can be tricky. Experiment with the right shade lest it compete for attention with the natural blue of your eye.
Eye shadow colors can be brown, rose, and shades of violets, lavenders or neutral tones. For a classic shine at night, mix black with another color. You can try icy pinks and silver and gold too. Turquoise and fuchsia work well too.
Apply eye shadow along the lid as close as possible to the eyelashes and along the crease as well.
Select colored mascara like brown or dark blue and a black eyeliner.
Lipsticks - pink beiges tones compliment blue eye color.
Choose a blush color that resembles cheek color.
Eyeliners for blue eyes are better chosen in dark gray, charcoal or brown. Don't go in for jet black liners. Try smokey makeup on blue eyes with gray or purple or dark blue eye shadow. Smudge the bottom and soften the eye line. Another look is one with light bronze eye shadow and boldly coated mascara. If you want to sport a more natural look, try pale eye shadow and play with a slightly darker color. Match your eye makeup to enhance your natural coloring. The hair color also decides the color palette for blue eyes makeup. What makeup will bring out my blue eyes?
to bring out a color, you go to its compliment.
a complimentary color is just another word for opposite.
to do this, use a color wheel:
http://www.engagements.ca/images/colorwheel.jpg
on this color wheel, there are three different categories of blue, with 4 shades each. do directly accross from the blues to see their compliments. you'll notice that the compliments are browns and oranges. any shadows, liners, or mascaras in this family will bring out the blue in your eyes.
you could play around with the color wheel and learn more about split complimentary colors. this is fun when experimenting with eyeshadows :)
hope this helps!

What eye makeup makes light blue eyes stand out?
as a general rule, those with blue eyes should look for eye makeup in gray, violet, taupe, purple, and deep blue. you could also try using a dark shade of blue will actually bring out the more natural blue tones in your eyes; giving you a brighter and more vibrant look.
if you are looking for an edgier or more dramatic evening look, mixing black liner with a bright blue will give you a classic smoky effect. you can also throw in some silver, fuschia, or turquoise if you are going out and want a funky nighttime feel.
violets and lavenders are most recommended if you have a combination of baby blues and blonde hair. this is because a light purple is the most flattering for most blondes who tend to have fairer skin than those with darker hair.
you can use violet on the creases of your eyelids as well as on the lid in general. a lighter lavender above the crease will give you a more dramatic look for evenings. more neutral colors are ideal for daytime, but it's always fun to wear purple no matter what the time or season!
tans and browns can flatter the shape and shade of your eyes without overpowering your hair or other features. in the evenings, adding a gold shimmer is a great finishing touch for those with gorgeous, fiery hair and contrasting blue eyes.
i would keep your lips simple with a natural looking gloss, that way you can have a bit more fun with your eye make-up.
hope this helps
xWhat eye makeup makes light blue eyes stand out?
Brown eye shadow and brown or black mascara makes blue stand out.
Bare Minerals ';Celestine'; eye shadow works on mine. It's kind of a shiny/metallic fawn colour that gives a nice soft colour that makes the blue stand out. You can use it wet to make it more shiny and intense for an evening look. What eye makeup makes light blue eyes stand out?
Browns and coppers. Black is very severe, brown is classic and sophisticated. I think its Almay who has the accent kits by eye color. those are very good - even just to look at color ideas.
smokey black eyeliner. apply normaly and as well look down and put it right were your lashes are kind of extremly near your eyes, to get a smokey affect.
I've always thought green shadow looks nice. Don't go overboard with the liner. Try mixing light shades of blue and yellow as well, that would be nice.
Black mascara %26amp; black eyeliner, but keep the rest natural or subdued.
Good Luck hunni. May every make up session turn out the way you hoped for or even better. X :-)
try dark black eyeliner, then put some blue (matching eyes) underneath or at the corners....it will make the black pupils stand out and the iris' look bluer!!
black eye shadow and liner it contrasted it can makes your blue eyes appear Crystal and sexy
try a green eyeliner (barry m does a nice one) with lots of black mascara.
good luck

What type of makeup would be appropriate for me? I have blue-green eyes, fair skin and red hair?
Thank you very much.
I do not like to wear a bunch of makeup, so please keep it minimal. What type of makeup would be appropriate for me? I have blue-green eyes, fair skin and red hair?
Two really great eyeshadow colors that I think would look amazing with your attributes would be purple and brown. Light purple is a really good color for everyday because it is minimal, but does add a little color (the purple will also make the green in your eyes stand out!). If you want more of a bolder look, browns work really well with blue eyes whether the brown is a more subdued taupe or a chocolate brown. Also, gold shimmery shadow will give your pale skin a luminescence.
As far as the rest of your face is concerned, pale pinks look gorgeous on fair skin, and you can choose any lip color you would like.

ok. So I'm taking a fashion class, right? And you sound like a perfect summer or spring. I'm a summer.
Bright white skin, blonde hair, possible freckles, etc.
Light blues, different shades of pink, and rosy colors, and beigey colors oh, and light green colors would look good. BUT be careful not to use dark pinks on your eyes because I guaranty it'll make you look like u'r on crack. lol
I'm wondering what color of eyes u have. Because if you have kind of hazely eyes or greenish blue, I also recommend u not put dark, dark blues on and no REALLY dark black kind of colors because they will make ur eyes look sunken in. ok?
sparkles also look very nice. And when it comes 2 sparkles, it doesn't matter the color! I luv them!
So use those hints from me and whatever other good help you can find. But I'm warning u bout those dark dark colors and hot pink, k? lol Green is just super, tho. :)

i'm fair, blonde, and blue eyes. usually i just put mascara, but for the eyelid colors, u can try a brown or dark green. Then white a little higher.
I like to use a white powder over my eyes, it highlights my blue eyes but doesnt contrast too much with my fair skin. Also try some golds, yellows, they are never too dark and dont stand out too much.
girl your just like me I use a little bit darker than my skin tone foundation and then very black mascara then for the eyeshadow I use either a light pink mixed with a light blue or a light brown mixed with a white and then finish with a pink lip..it looks great and good luck
Try using neutral shades light peach colored lips glosses no lip stick or liner. just the basic colors like your skin tone. if you want to go bright try maybe a baby blue.or light pink. When you by the make-up (if you can) try it out on your hand. if it looks to dark it mostlikly is. :)
Try put on a red lipstick (I find that SEXY!!!!!) if you want to be bold.
you should try light colors like peach and yellows and pinks don't try dark colors becoause they will pop 2 much and u will look trashy
Just go with a light pinkish or brownish blush on your cheeks to accent your light complextion. But your main focus should be your eyes. Use a light shimmering pink or light shade to cover your eyelids all the way to your eyebrows then put a darker colors in the crease of your eyelids. But your mainnnn thing is anything is wear a darker but thin eyeliner and mascara. Those are your comfort makeup's if you put nothing else on wear mascara and eyeliner
Maybe try natural colors.
Hi I also have blonde hair blue eyes and fair skin, i stick to natural colours but i am 31 so depending on age etc just do what you feel comfortable in. I think pinks are great for young barbie doll girls. Have a girly day in front of the mirror doing your hair and make up and decide what you like, get some friends around and have a fun day.
i have the same prob. and and latley i have been curling my eyelashes and wearing a little of mascara and white eyeshadow wit blue eyeliner on top and just a little on bottom the blue liner will make ur eyes seem bluer and really pretty.
I would use colors like a pinks and light tones but browns look good and brown eye liner really brings out your eyes but black mascara looks better than brown mascara and then never wear like lip gloss or lip stick that is daker than your eye shadow it looks really messed up. and for blushes don't use doark colors and try to blend it in

What colors of eye makeup would i use when i have blue eyes and black hair?
Yes, i have blue eyes, black hair. What colors of eye makeup should I use? What colors of eye makeup would i use when i have blue eyes and black hair?
It sounds as if you are a Deep Winter, and they look best in darker shades like deep chocolate browns, dark purples, navy, etc. You don't want a lot of pastels or light earth tones. You need colors that match the strength of your coloring. What colors of eye makeup would i use when i have blue eyes and black hair?
I've got blue eyes, and for everyday wear you probably wouldn't want cat eye makeup or super dark stuff. I found a really nice combination of colours that make your eyes stand out but still look natural, and it's springy!! Or summery or whatever :D
Ok we start with a gold - not too intense, just under the eyebrow. This makes your eyes look brighter. Then a light purpley lavender colour on the lid, not past the crease though - this is a nice colour for your blue eyes. After you have blended both these colours into your skin you can choose your 3rd colour for the day - it can really be whatever - match it with your clothes :P lets say it's a deeper green, you put it in the space from the crease to where the gold starts (put it more to the back don't really put any near where your eye is near your nose)and smudge it and blend it in with the other colours so that they merge together and not look like you have painted 3 different eyeshadows in lines on your eyes ;). Alright then you finish off with a light brush of mascara, and a little eyeliner on the upper lid under the lashes...and there you go
Hope this works for you, if not it might work for someone else :)
Blue eyes work best with dark brown colours.
Put if you have black hair I would use purple-it suits every eye colour.
Or you could do a smokey eye but don't do that if you are too pale!
Smoky eye. You can get away with that anytime. And navy blue or dark purple if you want to be dramatic!
i would try using metallic silver and purple eye shadows .. i think i would look nice :)
Dark brown and gold will give you an exotic look.
