My skin is quite pale, I have long, dark brown curly hair and very blue eyes. What makeup colours would you suggest? I usually wear either dark grey or black eye shadow or pale gold. I'm bored with it!I have dark brown hair and blue eyes, what makeup colours would suit me?
You sound like me. I wear those colors as well as a light blue and a navy blue. Not 1980's style, but very subtle. It makes my eyes pop. Purple and dark green are also fun! Lucky you! You can wear just about anything. Stay away from reddish browns, though- they always make me look strange. (But chocolate browns are good.)I have dark brown hair and blue eyes, what makeup colours would suit me?
Pink, Bronze, Peach, and Pearl shades would look good on your eyes. On your cheeks and lips, again, pinks, peaches, and nudes wil look good. When you use mascara and eyeliner, use dark brown. Black is probably too harsh for your skin color.
I don't know the answer but I just wanted to say that I think Dark brown hair and blue eyes is so intriguingly beautiful. :)
I would wear dark browns, light browns and maybe a light punk color. then white on the top of your eyelid.
I love to go to www.marykay.com website and click on 'virtual make-over' there I find the skin/eye color that fits me... It will give you a lot of different colors to choose from... I print it off and off to Walmart I go to find the colors that match (but in cheaper brands!). It also gives you tips as well!
You look like me except I have intense (I've often been told they look evil) bright green eyes. I am also very pale skin. Except in the summer when I tan. Anyway, I look best with eye shadow from the brown color family. Such as the soft taupe colors and a creamy/champagne color right below the brow. Maybe this will help you.
anything, just experiment...
I have blue eyes also, and I tend to get more compliments when I use black or dark colors, like dark browns around my eyes. I have a favorite system now, I use a metallic or sparkly colored dark brown eyeshadow. And I sorta line under my bottom eyelashes with it as well as just above the top lashes for a more dramatic look. then I use a slightly lighter color shadow for the outer corner of my eye lid to about the middle of the lid and then blend till it gives a ';shadow'; effect. I have a dark blonde hair w/highlights. Highlights are fun too! You can go highlights and/or lowlights to give your hair some depth, I prefer the more natural highlight for myself though...... I was a beauty consultant for Avon and now I'm rambling, sorry:)
Colors that seem like they would work with blue eyes can sometimes clash. Gold, blue, and brown are often used as colors on blue eyed women. In reality, gold can make eyes appear duller, since gold, a warm, is opposite of blue, a cool. Try silvery gray instead. Browns can wash out the color, and draw attention away from your eye color and on to the makeup. Blue makeup often competes with the eye color for attention, making it seem like your makeup has become the focus of attention instead of your eyes themselves. Don't fight your eye color, use it. While may people reccomend an oppostie color (warm shadows for cool eyes), the contrast may be too much. You want people looking at you, not your makeup.
Try pale pinks, lavender, and other pale purple shades. They can make the blue of your eyes seem bluer.
Smokey, shimmery eyes work great on blue eyed women, Try it with a combo of icy pinks and grays.
Natural is always a great look, no matter what your coloring. Try a brown/black liner and mascara with neutral shadows.

Well first of all you can go with an arrange of colors... like blues, browns, lavenders, champagne( for eyeshadow) and mix the rainbow! Even some reds look good depending on what outfit you are wearing...Check out brands like : Urban Decay... they have some cool shimmery different colors! Or go to sephora.com.. they have tons of brands and colors!!!
I would just play around and know that you don't have to stick to certain boring colors! Have fun with it!!!
