How should i do my makeup for a dark blue dress?

I have brown hair, hazel/green eyes and medium-tan skin.How should i do my makeup for a dark blue dress?
What time of day and or what event? If it's for mothers day or an afternoon event, you would be decidely different then a night on the town.





Three suggestions ... make up your eyes how you think they look the best ... wear your favorite lip color and contour the daylights out of things so the look natural.How should i do my makeup for a dark blue dress?
I can't believe people are saying no blue eyeshadow ! Blue eyeshadow looks wonderful with green eyes ! Did you see Terri Hatcher lately at one of those awards shows ? She only had on a dark blue dress and dark blue eyeshadow and it looked hot ! I would go with ';Flashtrack'; eyeshadow by MAC. It's a beautiful navy blue with some shimmer in it. It would be absolutely lovely.

not blue eye shadow that is for sure... how about tan...beiges..
no blue eyeshadow that's for sure LOL! i think you should go with a tan based colors, or you can add some pink to your cheeks and lips.
black or dark green
gold or a light blue


or both. have your eyelids gold and put a little blue in the corner of your eye near your nose and fade it into the gold
i think u should wear a brownish color
I would do something metalic- either silver or gold depending on what your accessories look like...


You could even do something with a fake lash, something really dramatic on the eyes and then just a simple glossy lip is what I would recomend... also if you play up your eyes for a formal event they tend to stay put the best so you dont have to keep touching it up and you still look great!
