What eye makeup looks good with blue eyes?

I am starting high school in a week, and i feel like i should do something new with my makeup. Any ideas? What eye makeup looks good with blue eyes?
from a guys point of view! i think a girl looks better without makeup!! the natural look is better!! but that's just my opinion!!What eye makeup looks good with blue eyes?
Marissa,

Ask 100 people about this question and you will get 100 different answers. I think for your baby blues the purple/blue tones will work best. Why? Remember the purpose of eye shadow is to enhance your eye's natural color, not to compete with it. Hot colors like browns, pinks will detract from your eyes, Greens simply don't go with blue eyes. Also the application is of equal importance. A common mistake I see a lot of girls do is the over application of eye shadow. Only 2 persons are justified with over application of eye shadow; runway models ( but those chicks are off the wall - calling attention- that's understandable if you are a model), the other is a clown. You are neither.

The application of eye shadow should be light, starting from the tear duct area moving outward with ';light'; applications.. A good rule of thumb for eye shadow as well as blush is ';hint of tint';.

I recommend the following colors for you since I use them myself, of course you are free to choose what you want:

Coonobabe

eyeNV: grape dust, night chill, the deep end

eyeLITES : last call, heiress, neptune, mysterious, mermaid

Hope this helps.
Pink or Peach colored eye shadow will accentuate the blue in your eyes. Go with a pink or peach all over your lid and add a darker color to the crease if you want a more defined look.

Other eye shadow colors that will compliment blue eyes are purples - violets, lilac, etc and greys, even metallic grey and silver.

Neutrals like taupe and soft browns can always be used, though don't go too dark with the browns. The best way to find your very best individual look is to experiment until you find the look you are looking for, but for a general rule you should stay away from blue and green eye shadows.

There are really no hard and fast rules about color eye shadows to wear if you have blue eyes. You can match your eye shadow to your clothing or go with netural colors.
Brown looks the best. Have three shades. A light brown, a medium brown and a dark down. Use the light brown and apply it to the eye brow. Use the medium brown and apply it over the eyelid. Finally apply a thin line of the dark brown above the eyelashes. Use a black eye liner and black mascara. It will bring out the blue in your eyes. Sometimes a nice silver under the eye also looks great.
