What kind of makeup goes nicely with royal blue?

Hi everyone! It's my sisters engagement party on saturday and I've picked out a beautiful royal blue dress. I have a slightly tanned/olive complexion and I want to have your ideas on what kind of makeup I should put on...like what goes nicely with what i'm wearing. 10 points to the winner ;)What kind of makeup goes nicely with royal blue?
I would suggest keeping your eye and face make-up quite natural as you are already tanned and you will look great just keeping it simple. But yeah, a nice red lipstick would look good to complete the look.

Matching eyeshadow, but apply it tastefully so it doesn't look tacky. You could look up a few looks on youtube but I think a nice smokey look using blue would look great!


Have a nice nude lip though seeing as you are wearing bold colours so it doesn't look overdone. A very pale pink or peach.


If you don't want to wear blue eyeshadow, you could wear gold - or even both.





If you have a tanned complexion, then you should be abl to pull off blue nicely!
Royal Blue is one of my favorite colors to wear. Royal Blue is a great color beacause it looks great on blondes as well as brunettes. As far as your complexion--since your tan, play up the royal blue and not your face. Royal blue is so powerful. Begin by using a vanilla shade eyeshado all over your lid up to your brow. After that, put a very light brown just on your eyelid. This will create a two toned illusion. After that, take a dark brown and place it in the crease of your eye. This will create a smoky, yet fresh affect. For liner, use a dark black liner. Line the entire bottom of your eye medium dark. Line only 1/2 of the top of your eye starting at the outer corner and going in. Blend with a Q-tip. Do this more lightly than on the bottom. Next, curl and lengthen both your upper and bottom lashes. I would then use a pink lip since your eyeshadow is more nude.
